Welcome to one of outer London's oldest and
last remaining second-hand bookshops!
The bookshop has been here continually
since 1949. In 2003 we extensively refurbished it and sympathetically re-modelled the interior. With an entirely
fresh and ever changing stock, we now
offer a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere in which to browse through a wide variety of enticing books and printed matter.

Whilst we're very internet-friendly, we only have a very limited number of books listed on ABE.
It's best to come and browse in person - maybe you'll find fresh stock that no one else has yet seen! You'll
discover what has prompted so many flattering comments in our visitors' book and why we have attracted the attention of
the local and national media, including ITV, the FT, the Times and Book & Magazine Collector.

Books From The Past
Make The Perfect Present
Testimony from Steve, a customer in Doncaster:
"Hello ... I have purchased The Rats from you for my wife's Christmas present. I'm e-mailing
to you just to say thank-you for such a lovely book and in such good condition. When my wife opened it, she couldn't believe
her eyes and she started crying as it's the book she has always wanted, so thanks again. If you have any other first edition
James Herbert books available, please let me know."
